The Logos Choir anthem this Sunday is from the upcoming musical, Survivor Babylon. The musical tells the story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and their encounter with Babylon’s famous King Nebuchadnezzar (and his even more famous fiery furnace)! As the text for this anthem unfolds, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego meet the King’s Furnace Keepers. Told with creativity and humor, the Furnace Keepers are patterned after the chimney sweeps from the movie Mary Poppins, complete with British accents and references such us blokes and cheerio! The musical seeks to show children the importance of obeying God instead of men and like the three Hebrew children, they can take positive, faith-filled action to conquer their fears and their foes!

Saints Alive Luncheon: The monthly Saints Alive luncheon ($4) will be held this Tuesday, February 20 at 12:30 pm in the fellowship hall. Debbie will share information about our congregation’s newly developed parish nurse position, and will be available to answer questions about her role as our Parish Nurse. Our donation item for February is to bring cans of soup to donate to Mooresville Christian Mission.
