Vic and Amy Petrenko Head to Poland and Lithuania
Our friends in Ukraine have asked us to be present with them in their suffering. While we cannot yet enter Ukraine, but we will go to the border between Poland and Ukraine to meet, encourage, hear stories, and pray over our friends in Ukraine. We will travel with Tom Boone from The Outreach Foundation and plan to arrive in Warsaw, Poland on November 1, where we will meet our hosts from the College of Theology and Social Sciences (CTSS). On November 2, CTSS staff and drivers will drive us to the border between Poland and Ukraine near Lublin, Poland. Meeting us there will be Father Oleh from the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Lviv and some of his team.
On Friday, November 4, we will fly to Klaipeda, Lithuania, where we will be greeted by Pastor Saul Karosas of City Church and meet with Ukrainian students from LCC International University and spend time with Ukrainians at City Church’s hotel ministry.
