Saints Alive
Our "older" adult group is known as Saints Alive, and is designed to be a fellowship opportunity for older members of our congregation. Currently we meet monthly for lunch in the fellowship hall on the 3rd Tuesday of each month, September - May, at 12:30 pm. Cost is $10, and reservations are needed.
You may make a luncheon reservation by contacting Melissa Foulke (704-664-5275; melissaf@mooresvillefpc.org) by the Monday before the luncheon.
In addition, the group takes several "field trips" during the year to local points of interest. Trips have included:
Billy Graham Library in Charlotte
Catawba Queen sightseeing cruise
Patterson Farms strawberry tour
Barium Springs tour and lunch at Julia's Talley House
Annual peach trip to York, SC to visit produce stands, with lunch at the Garden Cafe
Carolinas Raptor Center
Old Salem
The group also takes an annual trip to Island Vista at Myrtle Beach, SC in the fall. (visit their website: www.islandvista.com)
** Our group is currently not taking "field trips," but hopes to resume those in the near future.
